catch-22

i spend a fair amount of my time, especially during emmy's evening cranky period, longing for a break from her...and when i'm given that opportunity, all i can think about is how much i miss her!! today i had a couple of nice breaks- this morning during MOPS and this evening when we went out with some friends and their daughter babysat. as much as i adore the friends we were with, and although i was having a really good time, it was all i could do not to watch the clock and scarf down my food so i could get home to my baby! absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder:)
